Russian team: Alexander Riazantsev 2418, Evgeny Alekseev 2497, Artyom Timofeev 2447, Nikolai Kurenkov 2329 and Pavel Anisimov 2318 became the winners of the 2000 Children's Chess Olympiad, which took place in Artek(Ukraine) September 9-21. In the event participated were 28 teams from 26 countries.
