Evgeny Alekseev Grandmaster Evgeny Alekseev annotates the 2nd game:

X3D Fritz-Kasparov
Kasparov has surprised in the opening. He has played 1..e5 instead of his favorite Sicilian and has offered to Fritz to play the Berlin variation, since it is well-known that the program plays the ending not very well. Fritz has wisely refused to play the main continuations and has chosen 4.d3, avoiding the simplifications.
After 10.d5 the position had a stable, closed character. Kasparov has started the counter-play on K-side, while Fritz has centralized his pieces, lingering about the play on the Q-side. Up to the 30th move everything was ready to gain the initiative on K-side by move h4. Then Black would have the strong counter-play. But after the move in the game he had a strong position as well and objectively speaking the game should have been drawn. But then the incredible blunder has happened - 32...Rg7?? After simple 33. Re5 White has gained the key pawn in the center and position of Black has become hopeless at once.
Very offensive losing, especially taking into account that Kasparov played well up to the blunder on the 32nd move, which has destroyed all the results of his preceding work in this game.
